Guru Linga Sangama Worship


Guru means the person who disposes all Angnanam of the devotee who follows his preaching’s those all who have all Thevara Thiruvasagam full knowledge of and Meikanda Sastram for the flourishing of Saivaism and who are praised by the Samaya Kuruvarkal are real Gurus. In course of time there “Gurus” reach a high stage where they are called Gnanaguru. It is the Great Power of His Almighty that guides us in the home and form of Guru for us to attain the proper way and high divinity. Here Great God doesn’t appear in front of us but guide us to the proper worship in the form of Guru. So we must conclude that Guru is the achiral form in which (and His Divinity) God His Almighty, it’s the person ie the Guru is the one who we can see and enjoy with human eyes in short without the guidance of the Guru we can never approach God Himself.


Guru Worship


Guru is in the form of Shiva at the time can be worshipped by mind, words and body Guru is in the form at typical example for us to follow. We can follow his steps as a typical example. He clears our doubts and stows and guides us in the proper way for us to follow the typical ways of reaching the final and proper end. First of all one must serve his own Guru first and them do all services and Pooja to Samayakurawar, and Santhanakuravar. Above all yearly we must celebrate the Guru Poosai of each and were Arulalarkal for example Thirumoolam, Mangaiyat Karasiyar, Kulachiraiyar, Thirumoolar are some of those who divinity by Guru worship for example Santhanakuravar reached the divine high position only by Guru worship. Linga Worship


Lingam is the Aruurvath Thirumeny of Lord Shiva. It is in bright light form. In the form of Lingam its base or Peedam donates Shakthi and top denotes Lord Shiva. Thos who follow all the four rites, as Chariyai, Kiriyai, Yoga and Gnana must pray to the Shivalingham in Sivan Temples according to their maturity. Those who follow the Chariyai Markkam, prays the Uruva Thirumeny of God Shiva.


Those devotees who follow the Kiriyai Markkam prays to the Aruva Thirumeny of God Shiva. They also Kantharas and pray to Lord Shiva in Lingha form Yogikal maintain their image of Lingham in their mind and heart and consider it to be the form of Great God Shiva Gnanikal shows their piety to God in the form of love. Among these 3 kinds of devotees God Shiva bless the Chariayi devotees in observe and for Kiriyaiyalar and Yogas he appears in a holy appearance or body and bless them. For Gnanais, he is in the form of love and bless them. Among the great saints Seramanperumaal, Saakkia Nayanar, Kalikkamar and Poosalaar Nayanar attained divinity thro Lingha worship.


The varieties of types of Lingham


Sivalingham is of two types
(1) Pararththalingham
(2) Thavaralingham or on the other hand
(3) Aanmarththalingham or Iddalingham


The common Lingham we all worship at temples, is known as Pararththalingham or Thavaralingham. The Lingham that is formed by itself is known as Suyambu Lingham. The Lingham that is found or blessed by Ganalingham. Those that are found by Devas is called as Thaivikalingham. Lingham that is found by Irudikal is named as Aaridalingham Lingham that is made by Mankind is known as Manidalingham. God Shiva exists in Paraththalingham throughout and bless mankind till Sangarakalam. Those Saivaists who are born in Aathy Saiva family, obtained all the 3 Theedchai also pocessing high knowledge of Vetha Aagamam as a typical Guru. Also they fit and qualified to pray and conduct Pooja very closely even by touching the body of the Sivalinghamafter receiving Upatheesam from his special Guru at this stage the Lingham particular Sivalingham is a named as Aanmarththa Lingham and also as Isddalingham. This Lingham is of many kind such as:-


Swarnalingham, Padigalingham, Rathinalingham, and Sailalingham. Thru out his life line one can worship this Lingham by Aanmarththa Pooja. Those who conduct the type of Pooja must be tree from diseases and rites, also they have the right to Linghams for their worship to the rest type of devotees after their worship can put the Lingham is ponds or rivers. This kind of variety of Lingham are named Sanika Lingham. This particular Lingham and be made from, Rice, Sand, Cowdung, Butter, Sandal, Ruthirakam, Rice flour, and Sarkkarai.


Sangama Worship


The collection or group of Shiva’s devotees are called as “Sangamam”. They who worship Lord Ship with Bakkthi and sincere are called Sivanadiyarkal. They concentrate themselves throughout in the name fame blessing miracles of Lord Shiva and at this particular lines they target themselves. The enjoy in praying Shiva, Singing Thoththrams, doing all Siva etc. They all who worshiped Lord Shiva respect them and regarded them as God. They also respected all taken that remain Lord Shiva. Among the Arulalarkal, Thiruneelakandan, Iyatpagaiyar, Chiruththondar, Ilayankudimaranayar and so all Modcha because they all worshipped Sivanadiyarkal.


The speciality in Sangama Valipadu
